On Thursday, October 24th zookeepers from the Maryland Zoo will come to share with our first graders about animal adaptations. Here is a preview of the program:
Amazing Adaptations
Why do elephants have trunks? Can you jump as far as a frog? Learn about some of the amazing adaptations animals have for life in the wild, and use our challenge activities to compare them to our abilities.
Please remember to send in your child's signed permission slip along with $4 cash or check as soon as possible.
It is going to be a fantastic science program!
