There is no homework this week. We will not have Words Their Way word sorts.
Field Day
Kindergarten, first, and second graders will enjoy activities on the fields, playground, and in the gym. Please remind your child to wear sneakers, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle and hat.
Twin Day & Spirit Week
Tomorrow is also twin day. Students can join a friend (or two) for Twin Day and dress alike.
Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday, Thurday is Decades day, and Friday is Seven Locks Spirit Day.
Reader's Theater Plays
During reading, students have been practicing reader’s theater
plays. A reader’s theater play is a short piece that students practice to
develop their reading fluency. The plays are not memorized and are an informal
presentation. The students are excited to share their plays with their
classmates. We will discuss simple costumes and props this week. We will not have a formal presentation of the plays.
