First Grade is headed on another field trip adventure! On Monday, March 2, we will visit the National Building Museum and participate in the My House, My Home program. We will examine photographs of homes from the past and present. Students will then build a house with real tools and materials. Permission slips are in student folders today. Please note that the permission slip must be signed on the front and the back.
February book orders are due this Friday, February 13. Students received a coupon good for one free book with a $10 order. Please let me know if your child has misplaced their coupon.
Valentine's Day is right around the corner! Please remember to send an undecorated, wrapped shoe box to school. We will decorate our mailboxes as party of our festivities on Friday. Students should also bring valentines to give to their classmates during the party on Friday. Valentines that include candy must be nut-free.
